Dr. Christopher S. Rigling is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years experience in practice as a clinical psychologist. He received his B.A in Psychology from Binghamton University, and went on to earn his Psy.D. from the Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology at the University of Hartford. Following the completion of his doctorate, Dr. Rigling completed a residency in psychology at the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT. He is past president of the Connecticut Psychological Association, and has taught at the University of Hartford, Long Island University and Adler University.

Dr. Rigling has been in private practice since 1994.  In 2017, Dr. Rigling opened his current solo practice in Chicago.  His clinical practice has focused on the treatment of adults and families.  His specific areas of interest and expertise are the unique aspects of the psychology of men, couples psychotherapy and group psychotherapy.  He has worked extensively with individuals who struggle with substance dependence in conjunction with other behavioral health disorders. 

Along with his work in private practice, Dr. Rigling is a psychoanalytic candidate and staff member at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute.

In his consultation practice, C. Sloan Consulting,  he provides executive development consultation, coaching, psychotherapy, and marketing research consultation. Dr. Rigling has consulted to a variety of Fortune 1000 companies, as well as non-profit organizations.
